1.    Prime Minister’s Medal for the life saving for swimming across the lake and saving 18 bus passangers who fell in the lake Sivagangal during Jan-1997

2.    Chief Minister’s Medal for outstanding devotion to duty in 2000 for curbing communal riots in Cuddalore.

3.    Chief Minister’s Police Medal for Gallantry for armed encounter with a Naxalite in 1993 in Dindigul and for apprehending Elephant poachers after a gun battle on 25.01.2001 in the Madumalai Reserve forests.

4.    President’s Police Medal for Meritorious Service 2005

5.    Award of Appreciation letter of the Director General of Police, Tamil Nadu for saving the lives of 56 passangers of Cheran express Train that derailed at Ambur on 28.01.2007

6.    “Blue cross of India 2007 Award” presented by Smt. Menaka Gandhi, President of the people for Animals, in chennai for having affectively imlemented some preventive measures against cruelty to the roaming – animals in chennai city.
